Pumpkin Relay
Pumpkin Relay
This is great for classrooms and large parties. Create teams of 6 – 12 players and line them up.
Then hand each team a pumpkin and explain that the first person passes the pumpkin over his/her head to the next person in line who must then pass it through their legs to the next person in line. This pattern above the head and through the legs continues until you reach the end of the line.
When that happens, the person at the end runs to the front of the line and starts the over under passing again. This continues until everyone has had a turn at the front of the line and the person who was first in line becomes the last in line and when the get the pumpkin for the last time, runs to the front of the line and sets the pumpkin at his or her feet. This team is the winning team.
