Balloon Popping Contest
Divide guests into two equal groups. About 25 yards away place two bags of inflated balloons in colors to match your theme colors. These balloons should be over-inflated to make popping easier.
At the sound of a ringing bell, whistle or Go, the first two relay contestants, one from each team, run to the bag, and remove one balloon. Each must sit on it until it pops. Once the balloon pops, the players run back to the starting line, and tag the next player in line. The first team to complete the course wins.
Variation
Instead of the person popping the balloon at the other end, make them grab a balloon bring it back to the starting line and then the person who got the balloon and the next person in line must break the balloon together by squeezing it between themselves. Basically no stomping on it or squeezing with hands.
Once the balloon is popped then the next person in line (who the person who just helped pop the balloon runs down to get a balloon to pop. This continues until everyone has gone or all the balloons have been popped.
