Create a Calendar Activity
Use a blank calendar from a scrapbook store to create a calendar for the bride and groom's first year of marriage.
Start at their wedding month with each person at the party doing a month and then pasting it in the calendar (instead of taking the pages all apart and risk pasting them in the wrong order or something). We had pictures, stickers, quotes and words of advice, along with neat little things people cut out based on the month, its holidays, and its meaning for the couple.
The calendar turned out just beautifully since each month was so unique, plus it's really special - a scrapbook to look at each month, and then to keep to mark a first year of marriage.
Everyone had a lot of fun doing that and it lets people create a more serious and touching page or a silly page (such as for the honeymoon month). It was a hit not only for the bride but for the guests!
